We have opted to keep the skin on our walleye fillets so that you can admire it in its glorious authenticity and let yourself be seduced by its pretty shiny olive-yellow scales, unique in its beauty. Walleye meat is white and lean with a slightly sweet taste that does not carry the usual intensity of fish. So it's perfect for anyone who is sometimes hesitant about it. In addition, its flakes are fine and it contains only a few bones, giving it a naturally delicate texture which leaves a round, creamy and silky sensation in the mouth. In short, we don’t wonder why it is nicknamed the “champagne” of fish.

Our tasty walleye fillets are pleasantly versatile and so practical at the same time. They are easily cooked on the grill, fried in the pan with their skin on for a crispy touch or in the oven for a simple little feast. Another equally delicious option is to poach the walleye for a juicy fillet or to add it to a hearty seafood chowder.

Each box contains 2 kg of fish divided into approximately 10 individual vacuum-sealed portions.

Cooking mode

Thaw before cooking, either the day before in the refrigerator or in cold water for 25 to 30 minutes. 

Baking: Preheat oven to 350°F.  On a baking tray, cook for 18 to 30 minutes until the fish flesh breaks into flakes.

Cooking in a pan: Over medium heat, cook in butter for 3 to 4 minutes per side.
