Marinated salmon escalope on cedar plank
Marinated salmon escalope on cedar plank
- box of 8 cutlets (on board) frozen and vacuum sealed
Is there a better way to cook your salmon than on a cedar plank ? In our opinion, no, and we are not alone in thinking this way. Several customers confirm this to us through their repetitive orders for our marinated salmon escalope on a cedar plank, which continues to be among the best sellers in our Signature collection.
These oh-so-tender salmon cutlets are coated in a flavorful marinade and are made to be cooked on a cedar plank, which we include in every box. It gives us so much pleasure to be able to offer such a unique product and we are always so happy to see our customers rejoice when they discover that our “salmon on cedar” is available again. The cedar plank is not only beautiful and aesthetically pretty, it incredibly enhances the flavors of the delicious salmon.
You can cook the cutlets in the oven with the cedar plank, but our recommendation for optimal results is to use the barbecue . As the salmon cooks, it absorbs the peppery, woody aromas of the cedar and the smoky scent of the grill. Some customers have shared with us their cooking advice which is to soak the cedar plank in wine, sake or cider so that the salmon takes on these flavors too. A nice dose of culinary creativity to try! As an accompaniment, try a side of aromatic rice and grilled vegetables with a hint of lemon for a simple and oh so delectable meal.
Each box contains 8 vacuum-sealed portions of marinated salmon cutlets of 240 g each and a cedar plank for cooking. The cedar plank can be reused a few times. Please note, however, that it is important to monitor its evolution over time as it could become charred too quickly, start to crack and be difficult to clean.
