Scallops from the Magdalen Islands Caliber 10-20
Canadian scallops Size 10-20
- 4 lb box (4 1 lb vacuum bags); about 70 to 80 scallops
Known for their remarkable sweetness, our large Canadian scallops will add an unforgettable sea of flavors to your dining experience. Originally from Canada, these delicate treasures are freshly caught from Canadian shores, renowned for their exceptional seafood.
The delicate flavor with a sweet tone and smooth texture of our scallops combine to create the most luxurious treat that will simply melt in your mouth. Not only are these scallops generously sized and incredibly delicious, but they are also a great source of omega-3 fatty acids and magnesium.
Perfect for a more daring dinner or a festive meal, our scallops can be enjoyed in several ways, some of which do not require any cooking! To fully appreciate their natural sweetness, enjoy these last raw ones with a drizzle of oil and a squeeze of lemon. You can also incorporate them into a steak as a fresh seafood appetizer.
If you prefer your scallops cooked, they will finish quickly regardless of the cooking method. You can sear them in a hot pan on the stove or grill them for an upscale seafood barbecue. Breading and frying, roasting and grilling are also great ways to cook scallops.
Each box contains 4 sealed 1 lb bags of Canadian scallops for an approximate total of 70-80 scallops per box.
Cooking mode
Thaw before cooking, either the day before in the refrigerator or in cold water for 35-40 minutes.
Cooking in a pan: In a pan with fat and medium-high heat, cook for 1 to 1.5 minutes per side. (Smaller than the U 10 so it takes less time to cook)
Important: to eat raw (tartar, ceviche, sushi and/or poke bowl preparation), make sure you have defrosted using the cold water method just before use.
