Our salmon escalope has been cold smoked by experts at one of the best smokehouses in Quebec where it is infused with woody and fruity notes creating a completely unforgettable aroma. It is also an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids and each cutlet is a vibrant bright red and has a velvety yet firm texture.
Our smoked salmon does not have the traditional thinly sliced format of lox or slices of smoked salmon, but is instead offered to you in complete cutlets. So you can prepare them as you wish, either by slicing them or eating them as is. Their soft and silky texture in the mouth as well as their magnificent smoky aroma will help enhance your favorite recipes whether for breakfast, brunch or dinner, or even for a simple and light dinner. Slice your salmon escalope and add it to a succulent salad or enjoy it on a nice creamy bagel or avocado toast . Another delicious culinary option is to lightly fry it in a pan to warm it gently and accentuate its natural aroma without changing its soft and silky texture.
Each box contains 2 kg of cold smoked salmon cutlets packaged in individual vacuum-sealed portions for an approximate total of 10-12 pieces per box.
Cooking mode
Thaw before cooking, either the day before in the refrigerator or in cold water for 25 to 30 minutes.
Baking: Preheat oven to 350°F. On a baking sheet, cook for 15 to 18 minutes.
Important: To eat raw (tartar, sushi and/or poke bowl preparation), make sure you have defrosted using the cold water method just before use.
