Our homemade tartare is made from a combination of fresh New Brunswick salmon and smoked salmon from the most refined smokehouses in Quebec. It is one of the favorite seafood dishes in our Signature selection and is surprisingly easy to prepare.

Each box contains 8 individual vacuum-sealed portions of 200g each, accompanied by 8 sachets of sauce, one for each portion. You will see how these generous portions are the perfect choice for a weekday dinner with a touch of elegance and quality or even for a stunning starter to share between two. Tartare is also served very well at a brunch where it knows how to be appreciated, or why not offer it to taste before the main meal with a bowl of chips during an evening with friends.

Each packet of sauce contains a nice and flavorful blend of Dijon mustard, lemon, ginger and capers. The fusion of sweetness and slight acidity pairs perfectly with the freshness and silky texture of the salmon, without forgetting the spicy hint of mustard and ginger.

Our salmon tartare only takes a few minutes to prepare and is very versatile. You can add just about anything: onions, shallots, green onions, chives, cilantro, cucumbers, avocado and even fresh mango. To make this meal, simply add the chosen ingredients and mix in the sauce provided in the box. You can use the entire packet of sauce or just part of it; go there according to your tastes! Consider jalapeños or wasabi if you want to spice up the dish; Avoid for those who prefer a little more sweetness on the palate. This is a quick and easy dish to prepare that offers so many presentation and tasting options that it will quickly become your number one for any occasion!

Method of preparation

Thaw in cold water 20 to 25 minutes before using as well as the vinaigrette. Coat the tartare with the vinaigrette in a bowl using a fork.

Suggestion :  to accompany, simply cut your favorite crunchies (cucumber, onion, pickles, etc.) and choose your crackers and/or baguette.
